Paseos en Bici por Penitencia Creek / Penitencia Creek Trail Rides

SVBC is thrilled to host four group bike rides along the Penitencia Creek Trail in East San José!

These rides are designed to be supportive and comfortable for beginner riders who may be newer to riding bikes on the road. Our trained ride support are here to help everyone have a great time!

Meet up for free snacks at the Berryessa BART native plant garden before our group pedals for an hour or two along the Penitencia Creek Trail. You can see our route here!

• Frequent stops to rest and regroup

• Plenty of snacks to keep our bellies happy

• Bike safety and helmet checks before we leave

12:30 - Ride leaders and ride support arrive

1:00-1:30 - Thorough bike safety checks - learn the ABC (Air, Brakes, Chain) of making sure your bike is ready to ride!

1:30-2:00 - mingle and get ready to ride

2:00 - roll out

Between 4:00-5:00 - back at BART

• Free water bottles while supplies last

• Stickers

• Safety vests

• A working bicycle

• A helmet

• A water bottle

• Clothing fit for the weather

• Flat repair if you have it
