With a career spanning three decades, the multiple Grammy Award-winning Pacifica Quartet has achieved international recognition as one of the finest chamber ensembles performing today. The Quartet is known for its virtuosity, exuberant performance style, and often-daring repertory choices.
The Professional Artist Series (PAS) at Hillsdale College brings to campus cultural events of professional quality in all artistic areas. These generally include musical concerts, dance groups, theatre companies, and art exhibits. The series, designed to complement the established fine arts curriculum at the college, illustrates and reinforces the concepts and themes presented in classroom teaching. Artists and performers often conduct masterclasses for Hillsdale students. As a service to the students and community, Hillsdale College charges no admission fee for PAS events, which are open to the public.
