PAS Obstetric Anaesthesia Workshop
📅 Wednesday August 5th
⏰ 6:30 - 8:00pm
🏫 Arts West 356, Parkville campus
Led by MD4 workshop organisers May Nichols and Elizabeth Smith, you'll join us as a member of the anaesthetic team in a busy obstetric hospital and get hands-on practice with epidural and spinal procedures.
From the complex anatomy of the spinal column to the essential principles of regional anaesthesia - you will learn how to problem-solve the common calls and complications of obstetric pain relief.
With small group hands-on stations, obstetric emergencies case studies and many opportunities to practice neuraxial techniques, you will walk away with the confidence and critical thinking skills to manage the pain relief of labour and caesarean delivery!
Small nibbles will be provided on the night! Tickets are VERY limited so make sure you get in quick!
NB: If you signed-up for and attended this workshop at MDSC, please consider leaving tickets for those who could not sign up! Spaces are limited and we would love for those who haven't already attended the session to get an opportunity to participate.
We ask that if you have reserved a ticket and are no longer able to attend the event, please contact [email protected] ASAP so that we may allocate your ticket to another student.
