Party people! Party mortals! Life is short. Come get down with us at The Front Row this Friday, Sept 26th. The last parties were bumpin! 🪩SWVA’s most experienced funky DJ duo Star City Soul Club are joined by special guests Femme Fatales Vinyl Club (Melody Mundaca & Maggie Moser).
Meet Melody Mundaca and Maggie Moser - artists, DJs, and record collectors who bring deep musical roots and global influences to every set.
Melody, originally from Chicago, blends house, disco, Latin, freestyle, and soul, weaving emotion and heritage into inclusive dancefloor experiences. Maggie, based in Roanoke by way of New Orleans, spins sonic journeys through garage, psych, funk, and disco.
In the summer of 2025, they founded Femme Fatates Vinyl Club, an all-female DJ duo based in Roanoke, Virginia, with a mission to amplify women’s presence in DJ culture and create inclusive dancefloor experiences locally and globally.
Star City Soul Club has scoured the planet for the finest rare and familiar funky and worldly jams for a combined half century. Members Spark Arrester (of vinyl record label Boogieburg Recordings and Ubiquity Records) and Galactic Gigolo focus on 100% good vibes perfect for bars, breweries, clubs, and festivals alike.
