Party in the Park

Party in the Park is getting closer! Starting out the evening are Des Moines-based oldies rock band The Rivieras. A group of four, The Rivieras focus on ‘50s and ‘60s rock and roll, even dressing for the part. Following The Rivieras, Nashville-based SJ McDonald will be performing in Creston for the second time, after making her debut in 2024. A country musician from the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, McDonald has been performing since she was 10 years old. While music begins at 6 p.m., gates open at 5 p.m. Tickets are free for children 12 and under and $25 for attendees older than 12. Tickets can be bought at the event or pre-purchased at the Creston News Advertiser, Fareway Meat & Grocery and Hy-Vee. Party in the Park is a fundraiser for Creston parks.
