Join the celebration for the oldest known living longleaf pine in the world, right here at Weymouth Woods Sandhills Nature Preserve. This year the Old Tree turns 478 years young!
> Play games, see live animals, take a guided hike out to give the Old Tree a birthday hug, and (weather permitting) witness a live demonstration prescribed burn!
> Learn all about the unique longleaf forest ecosystem and the role that fire plays in keeping it healthy as you talk with conservation experts and wildlife educators.
