This FREE community event is focused on discovering real solutions for the challenges facing Washington County students and teachers.
What can we learn when we listen to the students themselves?
Listening to students, learning from their experiences, and working together to create better outcomes for every child.
Join us as we explore solutions that help students succeed, especially those with special learning needs. Together we'll discuss what is working, what is missing, and how Washington County can better support children, families, and educators.
Hear directly from 13-year-old Jaden Henry as he shares his experiences navigating educational programs designed for students on the autism spectrum.
Featuring a community panel including:
• Jaden Henry - Student
• Michele Henry - Family Advocate
• Dr. Brenda Thiam - Special Needs Educator & Former Maryland State Delegate
• Ethan Loewen - Education Advocate
• Tyree Sterling - Educator & Rock Your Mic
• Pastor Chris Schlotterbeck - Hub City Vineyard Church
• Pastor Jess Schlotterbeck - Grow Vineyard Learning Center
