The South Carolina Chapter of the American Association on Intellectual and Developmental disabilities was established in order to advance the knowledge and skills of individuals in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our goal is to provide a fun, exciting, and affordable forum for the exchange of information and ideas by inviting national and statewide leaders in the field to share their knowledge and experience.

Below are the Reservation Instructions you can forward to everyone in your group. Using this information, everyone can begin calling and booking their individual reservations as of today. Please be mindful the Guest Room Reservations must be Confirmed by October 13th, 2024. After this date rooms and rates are no longer guaranteed.

The South Carolina Chapter of the American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, (SCAAIDD), invites you to participate as a Platinum Sponsor, Gold Sponsor, or Exhibitor in our 2024 annual conference, scheduled for November 13, 14, and 15, 2024 at the Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort.

We have one opportunity for your organization to have MAXIMUM impact on those in attendance. The Title Sponsorship is available for $6000.

We have developed more ways to make this year’s conference affordable to our stakeholders. We will have reasonable registration rates, which should attract a large and diverse audience. In the past, our attendees have included administrators, professionals, teachers, direct support professionals, advocates, and individuals with disabilities and their families. As a Platinum Sponsor, Gold Sponsor or Exhibitor, you will have the opportunity to showcase your products, share your business, and offer your services to the conference attendees.

The cost for Platinum Sponsorship is $4000, which includes a pre-conference symposium opportunity on the morning of November 13, exhibition space (a six foot skirted table), meals for one person, and your company information prominently displayed on conference materials. Also, there will be a link to your company on the SC Chapter AAIDD website, and a summary of your company on this website: http://scaaidd.org/ The link and information will remain on the website until the 2025 conference.

The cost for Gold Sponsorship is $3000, which includes exhibition space (a six foot skirted table), meals for one person, and your company information prominently displayed on conference materials. Also, there will be a link to your company on the SC Chapter AAIDD website, and a summary of your company on the website: http://scaaidd.org/ The link and information will remain on the website until the 2024 conference.

Exhibitor space is limited, so reservations will be on a first come first serve basis. The cost for business Exhibitors, State Agencies, and non-profits is $1000. A skirted, six foot table is provided and the exhibitor fee includes meals for one person.

This year we are offering an opportunity to sponsor a coffee and/or beverage station, or to provide snacks during conference breaks. Costs will be determined by the Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort, and your company/organization will be recognized in the conference program and by signage at the location of the serving station.

All Sponsor and Exhibitor fees include a meal package for one person. If you send more than one person, extra meal packages are $225 each. This includes Wednesday dinner reception, Thursday lunch, breakfast buffets on Thursday and Friday, and the Hospitality Suite on Wednesday.

We have an incentive for conference attendees to visit each sponsor or exhibitor's display by implementing a card signature system. Each attendee will have a card with the names of all sponsors and exhibitors. When they come to your exhibit, you deliver information, then initial the card. At the closing session, one person who has visited all exhibits will be selected, and awarded a $100 cash prize.

We also have a component to market your goods or services. Each sponsor or exhibitor may collect contact information from attendees (for your purposes) and offer a door prize for one selected person. We will incorporate the drawing for your prize into the closing session, providing another opportunity to have your company or agency recognized.
