Hi Deb’s Parrotheads!
This quarters event will be a fun casual get together event raising funds for our general fund!
Our friends at GameDay (restaurant and arcade side) are welcoming us back to hang out, eat, drink, and play games if you like! We will be there from 12-3pm so swing out with a donation and help us grow our general fund to allow us to continue to help others outside of our big events!
If you didn’t know, we help support other organizations when their resources run out throughout the year. We do this when funds are available and in between our quarterly events. So far this year, we helped 10 people totaling over $2,000 to assist with medical supplies, groceries, hotel stays, and gas expenses while they are getting cancer treatments.
We’ve done this over the years all from our general fund and usually from our matched donations or those who specify donations for our general fund.
We would love to be able to continue helping these organizations, such as the Nurse Navigators at John Stoddard, Blank Children’s Hospital, and Children’s Cancer Connection. With this event we’re hoping to replenish our fund and have gift cards on hand when these organizations reach out!
Bring a card, and help spread some sunshine! When you make a gift card or donation your name will go in for a drawing for a Parrothead t-shirt and 2 koozies!
Gift card preferences: Wal-Mart, Target, Visa, or any local gas or grocery stores.
Cash/Check/Facebook and Venmo @Debs-Parrotheads are also accepted!
We will be in the side sitting area at GameDay Restaurant and Arcade from 12-3pm. Feel free to come and go as you please. You are welcome to purchase game cards when there for you and your family!
