On Tuesday, July 30 at Germantown Town Center Urban Park (19840 Century Boulevard, Germantown, MD 20874) join Montgomery Parks from 10 to 11 am for a Parks Playhouse Junior event. Live music to be performed by local musician, teaching artist, and kids’ entertainer Uncle Devin.The Uncle Devin Show® is an interactive, musical experience for children by renowned drummer and percussionist, Devin Walker. The show cultivates the minds of children through percussion instruments and is a dynamic cross between DC’s Trouble Funk and Schoolhouse Rock!
Make sure to prepare for each event by bringing your sunny day gear and blankets or lawn chairs for viewing. Make it a mid-morning picnic by bringing along your favorite snacks and treats to munch on while you enjoy the show. This performance is geared towards kids ages five through eleven.
