Parkersburg Piccalilli: An Artists' Takeover is coming to the Parkersburg Art Center on Friday, September 18, 2026.

This year's keynote speaker and one of our workshop presenters is Rosalie Haizlett, a West Virginia-based nature illustrator, author, and educator known for her watercolor and ink illustrations of the plants, fungi, and tiny creatures that call Appalachia home.
Your conference registration includes breakfast, a catered lunch, access to all Friday programming, and the opportunity to display your work in a Pop-Up Exhibit.

The fun continues Friday evening with Art After Hours, the opening reception for the WV Allied Artists Exhibit and the Habitat for Humanity ReStore ReDesign competition, plus food, drinks, and a chance to network with others from around the state and beyond. It's also Meet Me on Market night, so pop-ups will be happening up and down Market Street from 5 to 7:30 p.m.
