About this Event

Program Overview

Our Park Stewards program aims to train and support community as lifelong stewards of Travis County parks, promote conservation, and nature learning in partnership with nonprofits, community organizations, schools, businesses and groups.

This program happens monthly over the course of four months with 2hr modules each month. Each module, Park Stewards will learn about their Travis County park, receive information on conservation, and experience nature-based learning centered around different paths of park stewardship led by organizations and local groups. Upon the completion of the program, Park Stewards will complete a volunteer project or 20 volunteer hours to support existing projects within six months of program completion.

This program is a four-part program series running from September-December. Third Saturdays from 10:00am-12:00pm; 9/19, 10/17, 11/21, & 12/19. We ask that registrants commit to attending at least 3 out of 4 sessions to complete the program.
