Women-led show of atmospheric folk music featuring touring artist from Chicago, Park Hills Circle (celebrating her album release, All of a Sudden, alongside two standout LA songwriters, Reddenhollow and Christina Apostolopoulos!
PARK HILLS CIRCLE is the atmospheric indie project of Maris O'Tierney, an Alaskan-Irish singer and multi-instrumentalist currently based in Chicago. Her debut album - All of a Sudden (released 7/10/26 on Pravda Records) - features colorful nested vocal harmonies, warm synths, ethereal fingerstyle guitar, and soaring saxophone. Maris has musical foundations in classical guitar and voice/opera, and draws influence from her two homes of origin: the storytelling and mysticism of coastal Ireland, and the open, mountain environment of Alaska. Park Hills Circle songs evoke the ambience of Kate Bush and Enya alongside the storytelling of Sufjan Stevens and Joni Mitchell. Park Hills Circle expands upon Maris' decade plus of touring and recording in duo Maeve & Quinn with her violinist twin sister. Maeve & Quinn have performed their songs, poetry in recitation, and orchestral compositions in programs featured with the Poetry Foundation, Steppenwolf Theatre, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, Anchorage (Alaska) Symphony Orchestra, and Chicago Composers Orchestra.
CHRISTINA APOSTOLOPOULOS is a Greek-Canadian songwriter and guitarist. Born in Toronto and raised on the sunny shores of Santa Barbara, she began her own guitar journey at age 7 and continued on to study guitar performance at Berklee before moving to Los Angeles. Her songs have since had placements in film & television, notably the Amazon series "Better Sister "and regular spots on "Young and the Restless". In addition to her solo career, Christina is a sought-after session musician, known predominantly for her slide guitar chops. She has toured as a lead guitarist for many bands, including Haiden Henderson, Cuffed Up, and Vista Kicks, wIth whom she opened for The Rolling Stones at Hyde Park in London.
REDDENHOLLOW'S songs have a way of wrapping around one’s life. Truly listening to them feels like stepping into a river. The separation between Taylor Moses’s melody, story and my own heart disappears and before I can articulate or understand it, the songs speak my own story - a witness to my secret grief and to my rising dreams. I would like to turn my body into smoke, mist, rain, light and let these songs take me somewhere sacred. The unique timbre, grit and depth to Taylor’s voice sounds something ancient. In this collection of songs, Taylor takes us on one journey. The soft moments are so beautifully fragile that they allow me to walk through them while wounded, and suddenly throughout, Taylor’s voice takes us and the loving resolve and almost righteous anger become enough to pull us out of our suffering and onto ever present ground.” - Mimi Gilbert
