Get ready to laugh Mt Eden. We're back for our 5th Summer bringing 90 to 120 minutes, more or less, of live, in person, stand-up comedy featuring Auckland comedians at a variety of levels performing for you. You never know what you'll get, but it's always fun.
Look for us near the walking boy statue.
We start at 6:30 and finish sometime around 8 PM in Potters Park on the corner of Balmoral & Dominion Roads, Mt Eden. We will try to be between the band rotunda and Dominion Road.
Park Comedy gigs are Open Mics, you are most welcome to watch and laugh, or you can book a spot on the microphone through our form at https://ql.nz/oms25 or just ask the MC for a spot on the night and we'll do our best to fit you in. Performers at all levels of experience are warmly welcomed.
As an open mic we can't control the jokes that individual comedians tell, parental discretion is advised.
In the event of rain that's not too heavy, we may move to the cricket pavilion in Auckland Domain. Check the discussion here for announcements.
Bring something to sit on and a water bottle. Snacks can be good also. It's hard to hear laughter over rumbling stomachs.
If you want to consume alcohol you will need to bring your own.
We accept donations to help cover the time and costs setting up and running the event, cash can be given in the yellow bucket or electronically (details in our Koha page https://park.comedyshow.nz/koha/ )
