Art+Object is pleased to present our November auction catalogue, Important Paintings & Contemporary Art, including works from the Collection of Ann Robinson.The catalogue features a strong sculptural component, with major works by John Edgar, Barry Lett, Barry Brickell, Terry Stringer, Paul Dibble, and two kinetic sculptures by Phil Price. Further highlights include an early portrait of the artist's first wife, Viki, by Philip Clairmont, a beautiful 1975 painting of Christ by Tony Fomison, which is offered to the market for the first time, three modernist brolite lacquer paintings by Ralph Hotere, and contemporary paintings by Judy Millar, Kushana Bush, Grace Wright, and Nick Austin.
Preview Evening | Thursday 20 November, 5–7pm
The artworks will be on view every day from Friday, 21 November, until the day of the auction on Thursday, 27 November.
The auction will be conducted live in our Newton saleroom, with online bidding available via our online bidding platform or app on the App Store or Google Play. You can also place regular absentee or phone bids (links below).
