SAVE THE DATE – Friday 31 May 10.00 -14.00 We are organising another volunteer day at the Ponds in partnership with the landowners (Taylor Wimpey & Persimmon Homes). This is all in aid of our campaign to protect water and wildlife and to improve habitat, as we move towards the creation of the first nature reserve in Woolsington Parish.

In the meantime, it was great to see at the weekend wildflowers beginning to show in large numbers, plus two pairs of Tufted Duck, and a nervy pair of Shoveler visiting the wetland area.
