A sixteen-year-old boy is dead.
A week later, his girlfriend refuses to sit through her English lesson. Instead, she corners four teachers in a school corridor and asks them a single question: “Is love real?”
What begins as a discussion of Romeo and Juliet soon spirals into a day of confessions, betrayals and impossible choices. As Suzie Hall interrogates the adults around her, hidden relationships are exposed, loyalties fracture, and everyone is forced to confront the stories they tell themselves about love.
Paris & Rosaline is a darkly comic two-act tragedy written by Ben Goulding (Origin Story, 2026.) Set entirely within a secondary school corridor, the play explores themes of first love, adult mistakes, and the people left behind when great love stories come to an end.
This is not a love story.
This is a story about who love leaves behind.
