We are so excited to welcome John and Betsey Dirkse from Redeemer Church in Rockford as guest speakers for a Parenting Conference on Saturday, September 20th. The conference will run from 3:00pm - 7:30pm. Childcare for ages 0-10 will be provided for families that regularly attend Cornerstone. A pulled pork dinner will be included. Cost is $25 per person. Bio:
John and Betsey were married in 1993 in Southern California. They met while John was attending The Master’s University. Since graduating from both The Master’s University and Seminary, John was an associate Pastor for 12 years before becoming Senior Pastor of Redeemer Church, a church plant in Rockford, IL where they just celebrated 20 years of ministry. John and Betsey have 5 adult children, 3 sons-in law and a daughter in law. All of their children currently live and work in the Rockford area and serve at Redeemer Church. They have eight grandchildren with another due in Nov. of 2025. John and Betsey feel they are the richest people in the world having children who believe, who serve at their church with grandchildren they see each week. John loves pastoral ministry and having planted two churches, his vision is to multiply courageous Jesus followers and churches in the Rockford area.
