Parent Workshop Series with Jack Petrash

Join us for a two-part, in-person parent workshop with educator and author Jack Petrash. Over one evening and one morning, parents will explore how we can strengthen children to meet the challenges of today’s world and how an education rooted in child development prepares them for a complex future. Drawing on decades of classroom experience and insights from his work in Waldorf education, Jack offers practical guidance, inspiration, and a hopeful perspective for parents and educators alike.

Info: As parents, we often ask: Can we protect our children from the powerful influences of social media, climate change, and world events?
Jack will explore this important question and share why the answer is both “Yes” and “No.”
When the answer is “No,” he will guide us through ways to strengthen our children—through an understanding of their developmental stages—so they can meet life’s challenges with resilience. He will also reflect on what this asks of us as parents, offering both inspiration and practical insight.

Info: This workshop will explore how Waldorf education—rooted in the three stages of child development—cultivates active, creative, and flexible thinking. Jack will share how these capacities help young people engage meaningfully and fruitfully with the world they are entering.
