An in-person workshop for parents who yearn for ease, confidence, AND long-lasting relationships with their children.
About this Event

It’s September, your kiddos are back to school or regular care. Thank goodness for more routine and earlier bedtimes! Structure and predictability are like a breath of fresh air for you, but you’ve already noticed the added stress that comes with these transitions that’s requiring more from you after pickup: the attitudes, the meltdowns, or the chaotic zoomies your kiddos are bringing home with them after the long days away.

You’re clenching your jaw on your way to pickup, you’re holding your breath when you ask how their day went, and you’re snapping faster than you mean to over the socks tossed on the floor, bedtime taking too long, or on the 47th “NOW” you’ve screamed just this evening. You’re hitting your pillow at night wondering “What’s wrong with me? Why can’t I just BE a better parent?”

You already are a wise and devoted parent. You've read the books, you've watched the reels, and you've rehearsed the scripts and phrases in the car. You are not missing more information or parenting advice, what you’re missing is self compassion and self trust that you already ARE good enough. When you are in the midst of a stressful moment or challenging parenting exchange, instead of doubting whether you’re getting it “right” and then ruminating on the long-term consequences of your choices, you need to allow yourself some grace and trust that even when you make choices that don’t work out perfectly, you believe that you are always the premier expert on your children and you know what to do with grounded confidence.

You have always been able to figure things out even when things have gone sideways, but I also know you’re yearning to parent in a way that you feel good about, instead of feeling confused thinking, “I don’t know what to do here,” you want to feel grounded and nurturing and parent from the belief “I can figure this out.” You already know that yelling doesn’t build the connection you’re craving in your relationship, and neither do the rewards, bribes, or consequences we’re so often taught to reach for instead.

So, join me for this workshop, you’ll:

Understand why you keep getting triggered by the exact same things (the socks, the slide, and the 47th “NOW!”) even when you know exactly what you “should” do, and why that has nothing to do with how much you love your child.

Learn what real leadership in parenting actually looks like so your children listen and cooperate the first time instead of resisting or ignoring you. (Hint: it’s more grounded trust in yourself even when you’re afraid rather than being permissive or serious)

Walk away with my signature PIE Process: a simple, three-step process you can use in the real, chaotic pockets of your real life that supports you to find your calm, steady confidence in any hard moment and make grounded decisions about your parenting from your highest values.

Experience, live in the room, what it actually feels like in your body to meet yourself with self-compassion instead of shame, and what it feels like to offer that same loving space to your child when they’re having a tough time.

This is for you if:

You’ve read parenting books, tried scripts, and even tried therapy but still find yourself reacting in ways that don’t match who you want to be as a parent, and you’re ready to shift the beliefs underneath those behaviors so that they’re no longer required.

You want your child to trust that frustration and mistakes are the pathway to strength and skillbuilding and so we should all be striving to feel more frustration and make more mistakes because we’d all be more skilled and resilient if we did.

You’re ready to lead your family from humble steadiness and trust instead of force or fear.

You are ready to be a parent who trusts that they are raising a child who feels at home in their own mind and body, a child who can go down the slide one more time and pop off with a smile as they run to grab your hand as you walk home together sniffing flowers and talking about rainbows in the sky. You’re ready to experience more ease and confidence in your parenting so that you trust that you’re building a relationship with your children that’s durable for the long haul.

GRAB YOUR SEAT NOW!

While September is already full to the brim with new routines, schedules, and after-school moods to navigate, now is the perfect time to learn, because it’s already full and stretching your capacity. You don’t wait for calm water to learn to swim. You learn while you’re in it!

This is the season that changes everything. Starting with YOU!
