ABOUT:
Pardon the Interruption (aka PTI) are taking their place — asserting their voice — in the storied musical conversation of the San Francisco Bay Area.
One foot is planted firmly in the past paying homage to some of the most singular and iconic artists of the ‘70s, 80s and ‘90s. The other is stepping boldly forward, producing original material that is at once nostalgically familiar while also entirely modern and unique. It’s undeniable fun. It will make you dance. It’s like a perfect pepperoni pizza. It’s Pardon The Interruption.
With each show PTI is demanding the attention of fans of funk, pop, ska, jam, prog, and just plain rock ‘n’ roll. The New Wave stylings of Pardon The Interruption are infectious and stand apart from the typical NorCal sound. Take a bite and you'll see these guys mean business!

The Beautiful Hang Gang
"Americana, Soul, Reggae & Rock n’ Roll!"
April and Monroe Grisman are lifelong residents and well-known musicians in Marin County & San Francisco Bay Area music scene performing and recording both locally and nationally with numerous artists and bands as well as writing and producing their own music.
They are also partners in life for over 35 years raising their family together and both come from family legacies steeped in music and art.
However, it was not until more recently that they began to write songs together for the first time.
This new chapter has been very productive, having now written over 20 original songs that express a myriad of feelings about their life experiences, current events, and the people and things that they care about. Their songs are stylistically influenced by a broad mix of classic Americana, Soul, Reggae and Rock n’ Roll.
They now bring these songs to life with high energy live performances accompanied by their friends (and very accomplished Bay Area musicians in their own right) comprising their band “The Beautiful Hang Gang” lending their soulful talents to the music.
A debut album is in the works to be released sometime in 2026.
