Parasol Patrol will be on site at Aurora Pride on August 29, 2026 at Fletcher Plaza in Aurora, CO to help shield children, youth, and families from any protesters who may be present outside this celebration.Our volunteers use colorful umbrellas to create a peaceful visual barrier from hateful signs, slurs, and intimidation, while calmly escorting families into the event. For little ones, we also provide noise-canceling ear protection to soften the shouting and bullhorns that often target inclusive community gatherings.
We are seeking calm, compassionate volunteers to stand with us and help create a corridor of love for every child attending.
No confrontation. No engaging protesters. Just steady presence, bright umbrellas, and a community showing kids they are deeply loved.
Parasol Patrol is not there for the protesters. We are there because every child deserves to enter with dignity, joy, and safety.
