‼️Back by popular demand!!!‼️We haven't been to the wonderful Slough Fort in a while, but we've had lots of our regular guests and some of our new guests, asking when we will be going back......sooooo, here we are!!!
Slough Fort, Allhallows, is a small artillery fort in Kent. It was built in 1867 and the D-shaped fort was intended to guard against the French, on this very vulnerable stretch of the river Thames. It was believed to be one of the smaller of the forts constructed. The fort was manned during both world wars and underwent some restoration work in 2012. Buried original features and artifacts were uncovered at this historical site, where there was once a roman settlement on the land. There have been strange images captured on camera, that could not be seen with the naked eye, however the tunnels of the fort, designed to guard against invasion, now house the spirits of those who tried to protect it. Unusual white objects are reported to have ‘popped up, floated around and darted across the fort' Was it a coincidence that the 19th-century tunnels at the fort had been cleared the year before, having lain filled up with dirt for more than 50 years? Why not join us on this investigation at Slough Fort!! We will be using some traditional investigation techniques & also some modern tech.
