Its shadowy past makes it one of the eeriest spots to bowl a frame… or investigate a haunting. The land has had many lives: possible civil war field hospital, a family farm, The Bide a Wee Inn, bars with illegal liquor and gaming, and finally the La Ru Bowling Lanes in 1958.

Civil War Echoes: Built on grounds that possibly once served as a Civil War field hospital, the alley holds the restless energy of lives lost too soon.
Mob Connections: During Prohibition, the "underground" gaming locations were a favored hangout for mobsters and bootleggers. Rumor has it, some of these unsavory figures also enjoyed nights at Bobby Mackey's, one of America’s most haunted honky-tonks.
Unexplained Phenomena: Strange shadows, mysterious footsteps, bottles moving on their own and a spirit who still enjoys his smokes are just part of the experience here.

Paranormal Investigation: After the lanes go quiet, we’ll investigate the alley to see if those mobsters and soldiers still roam the lanes. We will lead you in small groups with various pieces of equipment as we try to reach the spirits at the lanes! Bring your date, your friends, or just your ghost-hunting spirit.
