At the John J. Pershing VA Medical Center, our goal is to provide you with excellent health care, all the time. As part of that goal, we want to bring you information about the services we offer and obtain your input about how we are doing with meeting your health care needs. What are we doing well? What opportunities do we have to improve?To that end, you are cordially invited to attend the Paragould Town Hall. This is a good time to talk to the Center for Development and Civic Engagement (formerly Voluntary Services) about volunteering at VA or ask the VBA Regional Office about your service-connected disability. As always, our staff will be on hand to enroll eligible Veterans for VA health care services. If you would help us spread the word, we would appreciate it.
It’s important to note, your VA health care services and benefits do not negatively impact other Veterans. This is a common misconception; however, the fact is the more Veterans who enroll, the more services and programs VA can offer.
One purpose of town hall meetings is to provide Veterans, their families, their caregivers and our community partners with information about VA programs. We will talk, for example, about how to access your medical records electronically through My HealtheVet, Whole Health opportunities, and more.
Another important objective of having a town hall is to provide an opportunity for you to tell us about your experiences with the services we offer. We want to know what you think about the health care services you receive from VA because your opinion matters to us. We hope you will join us for this important event.
