About this Event
WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION INCLUDING LEARNING OBJECTIVES
This workshop creates papier mâché sculpture using aluminum foil for armature and form with the instruction of artist Tom Sebazco. Tom will demo technique and guide through examples of past work to explore using papier mâché as a viable sculptural medium. The artist focuses upon figurative works and masks, but participants are free to choose their own subject matter. Participants will leave with a piece they create in the workshop to dry over the course of 2-5 days. During the demonstration, painting examples will be presented and demonstrated with artists' acrylic tube paint. All skill levels welcome.
WORKSHOP MATERIALS
Kinka provides Aluminum Foil, “take home boxes” for materials, papier mâché set up (container with paper/glue mixture for each participant) and tarp materials to protect work stations.
KINKA will provide all necessary materials except your presence and imagination •ᴗ•
