Join us in crafting vibrant paper lanterns to welcome fall! All materials, step-by-step instructions, and plenty of creative inspiration are provided—just bring your imagination. Perfect for ages 12 and up, this hands-on activity is not only colorful and fun, but also rooted in centuries-old traditions where lanterns lit the way for festivals, good fortune, and community celebrations. Come make a little history—and a lot of light—with us!
This free session is offered on Tuesday, October 6, 2026; 6PM-8PM; includes all supplies for one 10"-12" lantern with LED light.
This is a "limited registration" program but we are opening registration for this specific class tomorrow 9/29 at 9 am. Call the Olean Public Library to register for this class!
