About this Event
Facilitator: Bonnie
Series Length: Once per month (Sign up for each month's session as they are announced.)
Suggested supplies: Paper, scissors, glue. We'll email out a list of specific materials you might like to use when we get closer to the program date.
In this once a month hands-on class, we'll dive into the exciting world of creating unique and beautiful papers specifically for collage! We'll be making our own collage paper with simple techniques and everyday materials.
Bring your curiosity and a willingness to get a little messy! We'll provide inspiration and guidance, but the real magic happens when you unleash your own creativity.
Why design your own collage paper?
- Unique Style: Your collages will have a one-of-a-kind look that reflects your personal artistic vision. The papers can be used in other Mather courses, such as Paper Explorations and Art Journaling.
- Endless Possibilities: Experiment with colors, textures, and patterns to create an endless supply of collage materials.
- Relaxing and Fun: The process of creating these papers is a mindful practice and can be incredibly satisfying.
This class is perfect for anyone who loves collage, mixed media, or simply enjoys playing with paper. No prior experience is needed – just a desire to explore and have fun!
This program will take place on Thursday, January 30, from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. CT.

If this is your first time accessing Zoom, or if you need a refresher, we’ve put together a few resources from around the web that should help!
- Here is a guide on the basics from Zoom:
- If you are using your phone or a tablet, the easiest way to access Zoom is by downloading the Zoom app, as shown here: (Note that while this video shows an iPhone, other phones will have a similar process. The “App Store” for Android phones is called the “Play Store” or “Google Play Store.”)
