Join Us for Sustainable Paper Craft Day!

Spend a winter day at the beautiful Laguna Environmental Center exploring and expressing your creative side! During this family-friendly event everyone will have lots of choices for making eco-friendly crafts using recycled and everyday materials. We will set-up multiple activity stations with inspiring materials so children and adults can create nature-themed collages, learn how and transform junk paper into artful, handmade paper, and fold, color and twist paper to make vibrant flower bouquets. There will also be space to make personalized cards for giving on Valentine’s Day.

After crafting, take a relaxing stroll through the garden to enjoy the winter scenery and use scopes to spot birds in the floodplain. All ages welcome! Plus, the grounds are wheelchair friendly.

There is no charge for this event, which is made possible by the voters of Sonoma County who fund the work of Ag + Open Space with a quarter sales tax.

¡Ven a disfrutar de un día divertido y familiar creando increíbles manualidades mientras practicamos la sostenibilidad! Usando materiales reciclados y cotidianos, haremos collages inspirados en la naturaleza, papel hecho a mano, flores de papel y tarjetas personalizadas. Cada manualidad que crees ayuda a reducir residuos y muestra cómo la creatividad y la sostenibilidad pueden ir de la mano.

Después de las manualidades, da un paseo por el jardín para disfrutar del aire libre y utiliza los telescopios para observar aves en el humedal este invierno. ¡Trae tu curiosidad, creatividad y ganas de divertirte para un día familiar relajado y ecológico!

Este evento no tiene ningún costo y es posible gracias a los votantes del Condado de Sonoma, quienes financian el trabajo de Ag + Open Space con un impuesto sobre ventas de un cuarto de centavo.
