CARE FOR AFRICA, TASMANIA invite you to experience themagic of art and fashion fused at Paper Couture, an exclusive runway event showcasing the remarkable paper creations of Tasmanian artist, Stephanie Reynolds.
Attendees will be treated to a dazzling display of art and fashion, witnessing Stephanie Reynolds' intricate, handmade paper couture creations brought to life on the runway. Each piece is crafted with extraordinary attention to detail, celebrating the artistry and versatility of paper as a medium.
Stephanie is a four-time finalist in the international wearable paper art competition Paper on Skin TM, and following a successful solo exhibition in Devonport was invited to participate in QVMAG’s RISE exhibition in 2023. 2024 saw her lead the creation of the Universe of Paper, 180 sq meters of white paper forest, and participation in the Tasmanian Fashion Festival with wearable paper couture.
In addition to the runway show, a silent auction will feature framed miniatures, Tasmanian and African art, with all proceeds going to CARE FOR AFRICA. The funds raised from this event will support providing education to girls, empowering them with knowledge and skills to break cycles of poverty and participate fully in society.
