Paper Clay Workshop with Linda & Rachael
Wednesday 2nd September & Wednesday 9th September
10:30am – 1:00pm (both sessions)
We’ve had so many people asking about our paper clay creations that we’ve finally decided to share how we make them… and we can’t wait!
This is a two-part workshop, giving you the chance to create something completely unique from scratch and then return the following week to bring it to life with paint and finishing techniques.
No experience is needed at all. Whether you’ve never made anything before or you’re already creative, you’ll be guided every step of the way.
Session One
We’ll show you how we make our own paper clay from scratch before you get hands-on creating your own beautiful piece.
You’ll learn:
• How to make paper clay from scratch
• Mixing and preparing the clay
• Shaping and building techniques
• Tips for creating organic, rustic forms
• How to prepare your pieces for drying
Session Two
Once your creations have dried, you’ll come back to paint, decorate and seal them using a variety of techniques to achieve that beautifully imperfect, rustic finish that we both love.
You’ll learn:
• Painting techniques
• Layering colour and texture
• Creating aged, earthy finishes
• Sealing and protecting your work
• How to give your pieces that beautiful handmade character
At the end of the workshop you’ll take home your own finished paper clay creation, along with plenty of inspiration to carry on experimenting at home.

☕ Tea, coffee and refreshments are provided.
💛 A relaxed, friendly atmosphere where everyone is welcome.
Workshop Dates
Please note: This workshop is delivered over two sessions, one week apart, and your booking includes both dates. You’ll make your creation in the first session, allow it to dry at home, then return the following week to paint, finish and seal it.
