From the earliest tools to today’s advanced technologies human curiosity has been the driving force behind countless innovations that have shaped civilization. Inventions like the plow printing press steam engine and the internet have transformed agriculture knowledge sharing and global connectivity. Each breakthrough reflects our quest for improvement enriching lives across generations.


At the Curiosity Carnival’s Pano·ply section you can present your idea in a physical interactive form before an audience of over 10000 people. This is an opportunity to transform daring concepts into immersive experiences that blur the lines between art and science. Your installation should invite engagement spark curiosity and inspire new ideas in others.


The selected participants will have to turn their concepts into installations and these installations will form the Curiosity Carnival Pan·oply. The top 10 installations will be displayed as permanent exhibits at the Curiosity Lab and certificates will be awarded to the designers. The top 3 installations will win cash prizes (see details below).

 What we're looking for: 

​The first-place winner will be awarded Rs.50000 (INR) the second-place winner will receive Rs.20000 (INR) and the third-place winner will receive Rs.10000 (INR). The winners’ names and their installations will be featured as an exhibit of the Curiosity Lab after the Carnival.

  • Interactive Installations: Works that encourage audience participation and engagement.
  • Thought-Provoking Concepts: Ideas that stimulate imagination and provoke curiosity.
  • Sensory Experiences: Installations that captivate the senses and minds of children.
  • A blend of Art and Science: Open-ended creativity that bridges art science and technology.
  • Educational Impact: Inspire learning and creativity through immersive experiences.

Eligibility: 

  • Open Participation: No age limit or professional restrictions.
  • Who Can Apply: Mixed-media artists graffiti artists sculptors designers and creative individuals with exciting ideas.
  • International Submissions: Open worldwide; however participants are responsible for travel boarding and lodging expenses.
  • Cost: The application is entirely free of charge.

 Theme and Scope: 

  • Open-Ended Creativity: No specific theme—bring your most imaginative ideas to life.
  • Focus on Engagement: Installations should captivate the senses and minds of children encouraging interaction.
  • Art and Science Fusion: Submissions can focus on art science or a blend of both—we believe in wonders!

 Submission Requirements: 

Participants must submit the following:

  1. Concept Note:
  • Idea Description: Detailed explanation of your installation concept.
  • Tell more about your installation idea: Does your piece trigger curiosity and engage children? How does your piece engage and interact with the audience?
  1. Space Requirements:
  • Dimension Details: Specify if you need extra space beyond the assigned dimensions.
  1. Schedule/Workflow:
  • Timeline: Provide a rough schedule for creating and setting up your installation.
  1. Additional Details:
  • Important Notes: Please provide any other information you believe is crucial for your submission.
  1. Visual:
  • Sketches or Videos: Rough sketches mock-ups or concept videos to illustrate your idea.
  • Portfolio: Previous work samples to help us understand your style and capabilities (optional but recommended to increase your chances of qualifying).

 Submission Guidelines: 

  • Format: All documents should be submitted in PDF format.
  • Language: submissions are encouraged in all vernacular languages
  • Deadline: Submit your application via the form below by December 10 2024.

 Selection Process: 

Your entries will be evaluated based on:

  1. Idea and Experimentation: Innovation and creativity of the concept.
  2. Originality of Work: Uniqueness and novelty.
  3. Quality: Feasibility and potential for successful execution.
  4. Visual Appeal: Aesthetic value and ability to captivate an audience.
  5. Public Interaction: Level of engagement and interactivity with children.
