Athens will host the Panimvrian Conference "Imvros and Tenedos. Nostos and Perspective". The Conference, through a fruitful dialogue and with the participation of notable personalities, will discuss current and timeless issues, but above all, ways will be sought for local development and the recovery of the Greek communities on the two islands.The Conference is held under the patronage of His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, who is going to declare the opening of the proceedings and will be the keynote speaker.
The Imvrians' Society of Melbourne will be broadcasting the conference live at our premises in Mentone.
We encourage all members and friends of Imvros and Tenedos to join us on the evening.
For those unable to attend, the Conference will be also be broadcast live on Facebook and Youtube.
