The #PANeedsTeachers Summit will focus on exploring what it could mean to reimagine the teaching role in Pennsylvania. The summit will examine how new approaches to staffing and scheduling can improve working conditions for educators, leverage advanced roles, and support effective instructional models. Participants will collaborate in interactive sessions aimed at generating actionable ideas to shape the #PANeedsTeachers advocacy agenda for 2026 and beyond.
This highly participatory, full-day event will bring together a broad coalition including K-12 educators, policymakers, advocacy organizations, and innovative non-traditional stakeholders.
Attendees can join a networking hour between 9:00 am and 10:00 am before the official program begins. Official summit programming will run from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
