Pandora’s Box: Katie Kim flute, Kenji Fujimura piano

Following the success of their acclaimed collaborations, flautist Katie Kim and pianist Dr Kenji Fujimura return to the stage with Pandora’s Box, an evocative concert theatrical journey through some of the most captivating works for flute and piano, inviting audiences into a spellbinding world where myth collides with music.
From haunting whispers to blazing virtuosity, Katie and Kenji weave stories of innocence, love, obsession, temptation, and fate. Romantic lyricism evolves into striking modern textures as the flute becomes an almost operatic voice by turns enchanting, fragile, passionate, and fiercely dramatic.
