P&PCo Draw Men's 6s and Women's 4s

Welcome to Pepper & Pancakes Co's Draw Men's 6s & Women's 4s Tournament! This means that you sign up as a triple for the men's division and a pair for the women's division. You will get paired up with another triple to play 6v6 for the men's division. You will get paired up with another pair to play 4v4 for the women's division. The logistics of the tournament depends on the number of people signing up, but it is expected that each group will play a total of around 6-8 sets. You will be randomly paired up for every pool play game. The format for how teams will be made in playoffs is TBD. The venue for this tournament is the All American Field House in Monroeville.
Team Registration
- $40 per player.
- Men's division: Typewriting is allowed (only applies to middle and libero). This means that if your team composition is better off with a player only playing front row as a middle and another player only playing back row as the "libero", you may do so. If you have any questions regarding this rule, please reach out to me.
- Women's division: In 4s (also known as quads), everyone is always in the front row. The only other unique rule to this format is that open-hand tipping is NOT allowed.
- Venmo Fujin Shimoda (@Fujin-Shimoda) no later than October 19th. If you do not have Venmo, please reach out, and we will figure out a way to accommodate.
Prizes
- A winners: Cash Prize
- BB winners: TBD
Please sign up for the division that the best player on the team belongs to. I reserve the right to move a team up to the higher division if necessary.
Tournament Logistics (subject to change depending on the number of teams that sign up):
- Depending on the number of teams signed up, I may end up doing just one division and splitting the playoffs into Gold and Silver brackets.
- Pool play will be 2 sets to 25; cap at 27. Every team will make playoffs.
- Each team will have 1 timeout per set.
- Games will be reffed by other teams.
- I will post a link to the liability waiver that all team members are required to submit by October 23rd.
