This initiative is funded by the City of Panama City and spearheaded by Ward 2 City Commissioner Janice Lucas, who also serves as Executive Director of the LEAD Coalition of Bay County.
Following Hurricane Michael’s devastating impact in 2018, Panama City continues its rebuilding efforts. The Category 5 storm left many vacant properties that were later demolished, creating development opportunities throughout the community. With limited rebuilding resources, the city is working to connect developable properties with capable developers and help property owners understand their development potential.
