Singer and bandleader Pamela Rose, along with her talented all-gal band, has a brand new show – shining a light on the women songwriters who gave us an unforgettable generational soundtrack. Weaving fascinating biographical detail into performance, audiences get to re-visit (and sing along to) the 1960’s through tunes like You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling, Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow, Wedding Bell Blues, Both Sides Now, Think– while celebrating the work of songwriters such as Carole King, Laura Nyro, Valerie Simpson, Cynthia Weil and Aretha Franklin.
Pamela Rose has created a great ensemble band – Daria Johnson (drums), Ruth Davies (bass), Kristen Strom (sax), Janice Maxie Reed (keyboards), and Nancy Wenstrom (guitar) who all take star turns singing these fantastic songs. Don’t miss this unforgettable evening of music, friendship, and nostalgia.
