New with 2025 Guidelines, the AHA has made the pretest free and available to everyone.https://elearning.heart.org/course/1639 You will be required to make an account with the AHA. The Pediatric Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (PCLS) Recourse Self-Assessment evaluates a student’s knowledge before the course to evaluate proficiency and determine the need for additional review and practice. The PALS Pre-course Work involves a student reviewing course content through online videos before entering the classroom. The video lessons cover multiple medical subjects and each lesson includes questions to engage the student.All students must complete the Precourse Self-Assessment and achieve a score of at least 70% before taking the PALS Course.Students must print their scoring report and bring it with them to class.
This course will update and renew qualified providers in via didactic and experiential teaching methods, students learn to recognize and provide emergency care for respiratory failure, shock and cardiopulmonary arrest. Students rotate through BLS, advanced airway, vascular access, fluid therapy, Medic*tion and rhythm disturbance and management stations.
