About this Event

This event is part of the America 250 / Colorado 150 celebration in 2026. Commemorating Colorado’s shared history, honoring our unique people, cultures, and communities.

Lucretia Vaile Museum will be Open ~ FREE and open to the public. Starting at 10:00 am -2:00 pm, great for children and adults. Special guest is the honorable General William Jackson Palmer who has excepted our invitation to call apon us. Walking tours of Palmer Lake by Gary Atkins and light refreshments will be served in the town hall.

See special Speeder by Darrell Arndt and learn more about the Palmer Divide from Jim Sawazki who will be showing a movie he produced about the area and its earliest pioneers.

The Palmer Lake Historical Society is an educational 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving the Palmer Divide since 1956.
