A CHRISTIAN WITNESS FOR PEACE WITH JUSTICEJoin us as we proclaim a faith that centers love for our neighbors and celebrate the heart of our Christian calling: Do justice! Love mercy! Welcome the stranger! Feed the hungry!
12:15pm: Processions leave from Christ United Methodist Church and the Co-Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist
12:30-2:00pm: Gather at Soldiers Field. Food trucks available.
1:00-2:00pm: Music, speakers, and activities for all ages.
The procession route is just over one mile. Bus transportation is available from Christ United Methodist.
Please avoid walking through the Soldiers Field Veterans Memorial.
This is a family-friendly event. Palm branches, liturgical garb, and posters with positive messages are welcome.
There will be a collection of items for local food shelves.
