The Good, the Bad the Bette her brilliant second album of rocking and rolling Americana, perfectly mixed with blues and soul, in Water Valley, Mississippi. Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn’s, own New York Blues Hall of Fame member. Smith is a wildly emotive singer with a fearless swagger that permeates everything she does and sets it on fire, and gives her much in common with storied performers like Ike & Tina, Betty Wright and Betty Davis.

Awarded the 2019 Black Music Award for "Best Female Jazz Performer," Habaka is a powerhouse vocalist and lyricist. Her remarkable four-octave range spans blues, jazz, and gospel. Habaka's voice is a rich contralto that evokes the soulful depth of Roberta Flack, the smooth allure of Sade, the raw intensity of Etta James, and the explosive power of Mahalia Jackson.
