Join us in Palm Springs, CA for "Sparkle" Weekend to celebrate the "mother of the gay community" the legendary Jose Sarria the weekend of Dec 12-14, 2025. Before Stonewall, Before Harvey Milk, there was Jose Sarria. Jose was the first out candidate for public office when he ran in 1961, he was an out proud latino drag queen, a WW2 Veteran, founded the International Court System and was a former resident of Palm Springs.
We are thrilled to feature a gala benefit show showcasing members of the International Imperial Courts: Fabulous MCs Roxie Bleau and Gene Brake, with epic performances by the cast of Lip Gloss including Reba McEnwhat Bixler, Summer Eve Douche, Misha Rockafeller, Sadie Ladie, as well as Kit Tapata, Rod Surreal Beaute, Katrina Duall, Justin Deeper Love and many more.
This epic weekend in Palm Springs celebrating a true legend should not be missed.

Doors open at 5pm for cocktails, dinner at 5:30pm and show begins at 6pm. Gala event will include an incredible benefit show featuring the stars of the International Imperial Courts, silent auction and other surprises all to benefit the Jose Sarria Foundation.
