Join the Fun & Fellowship group of Sunny Dunes as we tour the PS Art Museum. We will be meeting at the main lobby of the museum at 6pm for a FREE self guided tour, followed by dinner & conversation at Blaze Pizza in downtown Palm Springs. What a great way to see wonderful works of art, enjoy conversation with sober fellows, and have a bite to eat. The weekly Village Fest will also be going on for those that would like to tour downtown. The Main Campus is Located in downtown Palm Springs, featuring compelling art exhibitions, a vast permanent collection, and the Annenberg Theater.
Founded in 1938 (originally as the Palm Springs Desert Museum), the Palm Springs Art Museum has evolved to focus on design and contemporary art since 2004.
The museum's extensive permanent collection includes significant works by Western, contemporary, and glass artists, with a particular focus on mid-century modernism.
