This session is for both newly qualified and experienced registered nurses working in general community settings to help develop the clinical knowledge needed to manage common symptoms at the end of life. The training will cover how to recognise when a patient's life may be coming to it's end, common symptoms we might anticipate, and how these symptoms could be treated using both prescribed medications and holistic interventions. The session will also give you the opportunity to practice Medic*tion calculations and conversions relevant to end of life care. It is helpful to attend this session prior to attending Syringe Pump Training.
