What to Expect:
Introduction to the use of a palette or painting knife. I will cover use of the knife, including different strokes and effects possible. We will touch on how to start a painting, composition and some color mixing. We will start and complete a 12" x 12" landscape painting. This class is for beginners to advanced.
About the Teacher & Artist Jeanne McCutcheon:
I feel that I have been an artist all my life. I have painted for over 30 years and always appreciated all forms of art. I now mostly paint landscapes with acrylics and some watercolor but started with oils. My degree is in photojournalism so I like to take pictures to paint from. Now that I am retired I hope to do more traveling and painting on location.
