Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina’s music has been filling Roman basilicas with rich, flowing harmonies for over 500 years, and it’s still just as breathtaking today.
The Ripieno Choir will pair his crystalline polyphony with the bold harmonies of 20th- and 21st-century masters, such as Durufle, Holst, MacMillan and more, who take their inspiration from the Father of Polyphony.
We’re delighted that we will be conducted for this concert by Emily Elias, while Paddy is on paternity leave.
