• 1 Workshop for 4 people (must preregister to reserve a seat)
• Lecture Peak for 4 people (no preregistration needed; can use SAT or SUN)

PaleoFest is a weekend-long celebration of paleontology at the Burpee Museum of Natural History in Rockford, Illinois. The event features educational programs, workshops, and lectures from paleontologists.

What Happens?

• Talks: Paleontologists from around the world share their research and studies
• Workshops: Kids and adults can participate in workshops on topics like trilobites and ceratopsians
• Art demonstrations: Visitors can learn about paleontology through art demonstrations
• PopUp Exhibits & Games: Guests can view one-day only exhibit stations that focus on different aspects of paleontology
• Exhibit halls: Visitors can explore the museum's exhibit halls

• Education staff: The museum's education staff create activities for kids and adults
