Palatine Police Department's Second Annual National Night Out

Join the Palatine Police Department on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, for our second annual National Night Out! We are partnering with the Palatine Park District and the Palatine Police Boosters to bring you another night of family fun. The event will take place from 5-8 PM and will be located at Falcon Park Recreation Center (2195 N. Hicks Rd.).
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes strong partnerships between law enforcement and the community while encouraging neighborhood camaraderie and public safety awareness.
This free, family-friendly event will feature police, fire, public works, and other Village departments, along with demonstrations, activities, and opportunities for residents to interact with first responders and community organizations. Attendees can enjoy:
• Police and emergency vehicle displays
• K-9 demonstrations
• Inflatables and family activities
• A reptile show
• Community resource booths
• Giveaways and interactive exhibits
• Opportunities to meet local police officers, firefighters, and Village staff
National Night Out provides an opportunity for residents to connect with those who serve the community, learn about public safety programs, and strengthen relationships that help keep Palatine a safe and welcoming place to live.
