Join us as we celebrate 100 years of The Palace Theatre 🎭✨
On September 2, 2026, Westmoreland Cultural Trust invites the community to gather at The Palace Theatre for a once in a century celebration honoring the exact 100th anniversary of this historic landmark.
The event will take place both inside and outside the theatre and will feature remarks from Westmoreland Cultural Trust leadership, community partners, and local, county, and state officials as we reflect on a century of arts, culture, and community impact.
A highlight of the celebration will be the dedication and ceremonial sealing of The Palace Theatre Centennial Time Capsule, which will be permanently placed near the historic ticket booth. The capsule will hold memories from our community including stories, photos, programs, and special keepsakes, preserving a snapshot of The Palace today for future generations to discover.
We will also unveil a commemorative plaque marking this historic moment and honoring The Palace’s lasting legacy.
